| About Us |
| Kyoto Anime officially opened in November of 2003. We began by selling manga and anime soundtracks over eBay, but always wanted to do more. We wanted to interact with our own kind - fans of anime. In November of 2004 we attended our first convention and decided that the "con circuit" would be our main venue. At this point, we expanded our merchandise to include gashapon (capsule) figures, trading figures, large-scale PVC statues, and plushies. Our main focus is on import anime and manga merchandise, but we also carry merchandise from various Japanese games such as Mario, Viewtiful Joe, and Virtual On, to name a few. We also stock harder-to-find items such as those from Macross, San-X / Sanrio, and Nightmare Before Christmas. We receive many shipments all year long, so be sure to visit the site frequently to have the best selection. Basically, Kyoto Anime exists with the goal of selling anime merchandise with friendly service and at a fair price. We try to keep all of our prices as reasonable as we can. Because all of the employees of Kyoto Anime are, themselves, anime fans we feel we can accomplish this. We have all been on the buying side of a dealer's table, we have all bought over the internet, and have all been lucky enough to shop in anime stores. That being the case, we know what it's like to go into sticker shock over some of the prices out there. We will always do our best to deliver you the best price with the best service. Feel free to stop by one of our convention booths and say hi to any of us! Chatting with fellow fans is one of our pleasures! |
